Pre-Shipment Inspection

A visit at the factory or warehouse while the goods can still be corrected, recorded in a form someone else can read later. What you receive: - A checklist agreed before the visit, in the order a person would work through it: quantity produced and packed, workmanship against the approved sample, measurements, function where the product can be operated, packaging, carton marking, labelling and accessories - The sampling plan stated in advance: how many cartons are opened, how many units are taken from each, and how they were chosen - A report with the date and place of the visit, the quantities actually inspected, every checkpoint with its result, and the photographs taken - A named list of what falls outside the visit, including the units that were not opened How it runs: A visit is an observation at one moment, made on part of a consignment. It is not a certificate, and it does not confirm that the goods satisfy any rule of the destination country. Visits are booked against the supplier's production dates. Priced in US dollars; the fee covers one visit at one site for one consignment.
