Counterparty Verification

A written check on the party you are about to pay, made before the deposit leaves your account. What you receive: - The registration record, with the legal name, number, address and stated business scope - A comparison of the three parties that normally differ: the company that signs, the company that receives the deposit, and the company named as shipper - Whether the machines are owned and the operators employed by the same entity, and whether part of the order is subcontracted - The name on the account that will take the deposit, checked against the contracting party - A short written note naming what was confirmed, what was not, and which questions stayed open How it runs: We work from documents and public records, and the note says which of the two each statement came from. Buying from a trading company is a legitimate answer; the mistake is believing you are dealing with a factory when you are not, so the note states which one you are dealing with.
